Dialogues of Compassion and Gender-based Violence — A Footage WebinHERS
Dialogues of Compassion is an opportunity to explore the ways in which compassion, connection and storytelling can help be used as tools of empowerment in ending gender-based violence in Russia and the USA.
Through an exploration of rich data generated through a human-centered design process, illustrating the lived experience of young women in Russia and the USA, you will understand the ways in which voices-based methods, such as storytelling, can serve as powerful interventions in ending violence as well as tools for public diplomacy.
Dialogues of Compassion focuses on demonstrating the power of prioritizing young women’s voices as ways to mitigate the impact of gender-based violence, create sustainable change in the lives of young women across international borders, and increase feelings of connection and compassion for all involved in ending gender-based violence globally -- including those attending this session.
This WebinHER features two 15-minute segments for focused dialogue amongst attendees with simultaneous interpretation in Russian and English.
